く【苦】

1 〔苦しみ〕 (a) pain; suffering(s); (an) affliction; (a) trial; 〔心配〕 anxiety; worry; care; trouble; strain; anguish; (悔恨からの) a qualm 《しばしば複数》.

●苦になる 〈人が主語〉 be anxious [nervous, concerned, 《口》 jittery, worked up] 《about…》; worry [be worried] 《about…》; 〈事が主語〉 cause (sb) anxiety; make sb anxious; bother; annoy; get on sb's nerves; weigh on sb's mind

・そんなことは大して苦にならない. That won't cause much trouble. | There won't be much need to worry about something like that.

・親の面倒を見ることは私にはちっとも苦にならない. It's no trouble at all for me to look after my parents.
